Our Commitment to Inclusivity

Azu-Eri recognises the importance of inclusivity which is why it is passionate about the protection of all genders, ages and races. It firmly believes that every voiceless voice is a voice that must be vitalized to become voiceful. It also believes that victims of any form of abuse should be protected predominantly by safeguarding and also by instigating intervention that is based on the balance of probabilities.

NPD Awareness Initiative

Understanding Narcissist Personality Disorder

Azu-Eri is keen on creating widespread awareness of narcissism, scientifically known as Narcissist Personality Disorder (NPD). NPD is a mental illness that is caused by the extreme abuse or neglect of a child, by their primary caregiver. Research and specific studies in psychology, child development and trauma show that a significant portion of people who became abusers experienced abuse or trauma in childhood. This, invariably, means that most perpetrators of abuse were themselves victims of abuse having been nurtured and marinated in toxic settings.

As a foundation that is committed to legal and human integrity, Azu-Eri stands resolute in its goal to support victims of abuse to a place of dignity, strength, resilience, value and self-worth. The foundation exists to disseminate information surrounding the early detection of mental health struggles because of its resolution to make such education accessible to people through initiatives, seminars, social media and workshops. These programs are intended to address the definition and impacts of bullying, narcissism, abuse, which encompasses domestic, emotional and physical violence. Our foundation aspires to build a future where victims will not have to walk through the complexities of life alone.
